We are Garden Breaks

Since 1997, European Garden Breaks have been visiting interesting and unusual gardens across the Channel, in particular France, Holland, and Belgium and more recently Northern Ireland. The gardens range from Monet’s famous garden at Giverney to the small hidden woodland garden of Petit-Bordeaux; large public gardens to small town gardens and each trip will have a selection of gardens to suit everyone’s tastes.

Generally, there are two trips a year, both over a long weekend, starting either Thursday or Friday and returning on Monday. While the main focus of the trips is visiting gardens, we do allow plenty of time to explore the local area and savour the food and drink.

Travel is by the Yeovil coach company, Bakers Coaches, takes pride in transporting the group safely and with good humour and offers free secure car parking in Yeovil if required. There is no need to worry about the practicalities as plenty of refreshments and comfort stops are scheduled. Accommodation is in a good quality hotel or cabins on overnight ferries. Breakfast is generally included and other meals extra, however, see individual itineraries as each trip varies. Where possible we include one group evening meal at the beginning of the trip to help everyone get to know each other.

It doesn’t matter if you are travelling on your own, as a couple or with friends, you will be made to feel welcome. “It’s like one big happy family”
